Surmountable (Harmony Of Head And Heart By Moe Hein)

SURMOUNTABLE

Are you in distress?
Don't fret.
For millions in the world
are suffering no less.

Surely,
you have tasted life
which sometimes is bitter
and other times sweet.

However depressing
Live on!
What is there to gain
burying yourself in pain.
Your trouble will only double.

Remember
mountains, however lofty,
come under the sole and heel.
Waves, however gigantic,
come under the hull and keel.

All are surmountable.
Shake off your worries
and muster courage.
With a sound mind and firm steps
come on, move ahead!

Every second is precious
so make use of it.
Don't give up, my dear.
Your heart is the driving spirit.
Your head the guiding compass.

Go on! Make it!
If you can,
you are no more the man before.
You are reborn.
Future awaits you with a smile.

Man,
do know that
your fate is in your hand.
